Teacher Workspace Backups

Encrypted backups of the owner's Teacher Workspace, stored in a private Google Drive folder and checked for recovery.

Matthew Eddy operates this utility for his own Teacher Workspace. It is not a public backup service and does not offer public account registration or student sign-in.

What it does

• Creates an encrypted snapshot of the local Workspace database and the private configuration needed to restore it.
• Uploads the encrypted file to an app-created, unshared Teacher Workspace Backups folder in the owner's Google Drive.
• Downloads the file independently and checks its size, hash and authenticated recovery metadata.
• Supports a daily 18:00 Brisbane schedule, catch-up and retries. Activation and evidence are controlled locally.

Google Drive access

The utility requests only drive.file: access to the specific Drive files used with this app. It verifies the intended owner and dedicated folder before operating. The public information site has no access to the Workspace, backups or Google credentials.
